DigiAsset Prediction Market Rules (Metadata Summary)
Buy-In Cost: 250 DGB per DigiAsset (represents one prediction)
Two Outcomes per Event: One DigiAsset issued for each side (e.g., "WIN_A" and "WIN_B")
Event Lock Time: Betting closes at the event’s expiry block
Event Expiry Block: The DigiByte block height at which betting closes and no further predictions can be placed. This block is set in advance to align with the scheduled start time of the real-world event. Once mined, the market locks, and all predictions are finalized for payout or refund logic.
Minimum Valid Market Condition: At least one DigiAsset must be sold for each outcome
Fee Deduction on Valid Outcomes: 8% of the total event pool is deducted after expiry
5% Diginexum vendor fee
3% issuer/operator fee
Payout Pool (Valid Outcome): Remaining 92% of the total pot is distributed evenly to holders of the winning DigiAsset
Payout Logic: Equal split among all winning DigiAsset holders
Profit Mechanics: Winning side receives their original stake + a share of the losing side’s stake, adjusted by pool ratio (e.g., 60/40 split leads to lower individual profit than 40/60)
Refund Conditions:
If only one side receives predictions and the other side has none, the market is void and all buyers are refunded minus 6% total
(5% Diginexum fee + 1% issuer refund fee)
If the event is canceled, all buyers are refunded minus 6% total
(5% Diginexum fee + 1% issuer refund fee)
No Refunds (Valid Outcome): Losing side forfeits full stake; no payout
